Liverpool head to the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon knowing a win could take them one step closer to the Premier League title. While they’ll need results elsewhere to go their way to mathematically seal it, this looks like an ideal opportunity to keep the pressure on at the top.
Liverpool Eyeing Statement Win
Arne Slot’s side haven’t been at their best over the last few weeks, but this matchup gives them the perfect chance to respond. They cruised to a 3-1 win in the reverse fixture and should be confident of another big performance here.
Liverpool have won 5 of their last 6 league matches and have a strong away record. Despite not being as explosive as in the Klopp era, they’re still finding ways to get the job done, and a clean sheet win here feels well within reach.
