Wimbledon 2025 Men’s Singles Betting Preview

Monday | All England Club, London | Grand Slam
Carlos Alcaraz is eyeing a historic third straight Gentlemen’s Singles crown at SW19, but world No. 1 Jannik Sinner isn’t far behind in the betting. This year’s tournament could produce fireworks, though history suggests upsets at Wimbledon are rare.
Since Goran Ivanisevic’s famous wildcard win in 2001, only one player seeded outside the top 10 has lifted the trophy – Novak Djokovic in 2018. So are we looking at another Alcaraz-Sinner showdown? Or is there value further down the board?
Wimbledon 2025 Prediction
Carlos Alcaraz enters as the slight favourite at 2.45. He defeated Sinner in a five-set classic at Roland Garros and has now won five straight head-to-heads against the Italian. The 21-year-old thrives on grass and has already proven his class on the biggest stage at Wimbledon.
Jannik Sinner, the reigning world No. 1, comes in at 2.50. He’s been superb in majors this season, winning the Australian Open and reaching the final at the French Open. While he’s never made the Wimbledon final, he’s featured in four of the last six Grand Slam finals, winning three.
Wimbledon 2025 Prediction & Odds
Alcaraz is narrowly favoured at 2.45, with Sinner right behind at 2.62. Djokovic is third-favourite at 5.30, followed by local hope Draper (9.00) and the enigmatic Zverev (12.00).
Wimbledon 2025 Men’s Contenders
🟢 Novak Djokovic (5.30) – The 7-time Wimbledon champ is 38 now, but made the final in both 2023 and 2024. He’s been there 10 times and is never to be written off.
🟢 Jack Draper (9.00) – The British No.1 has soared into the top 5 and beat Alcaraz at Indian Wells. Home crowd support could take him deep.
🟢 Alexander Zverev (12.00) – World No.3 has reached Grand Slam finals before, but never at Wimbledon. His power game is a threat if he gets rolling.
🟢 🟢 Alexander Bublik (51.00) – Wildcard. He just beat Sinner en route to the Halle title. Ranked No. 30, he’s inconsistent but dangerous.
Wimbledon 2025 Hopefuls & Long Shots
🔹 Daniil Medvedev (25.00) – Two-time Wimbledon semi-finalist. Not in peak form, but still a contender with his baseline class.
🔹 Lorenzo Musetti (25.00) – Has really come of age. Reached 2024 Wimbledon semis and 2025 French Open semis. Major dark horse.
🔹 Taylor Fritz (33.00) – Has two quarterfinals here. World No.4 needs a breakthrough Slam win, but faces a tough draw.
🔹 Matteo Berrettini (33.00) – 2021 finalist. Has dropped to 34 in the rankings, but his grass-court game still plays. Dangerous if fit.
🔹 Tommy Paul (41.00) – Reached the quarters last year and won three ATP events. Slam consistency still a question.
