What happened to the blockchain betting and betting addresses?
The blockchain game has been disabled and such bets are no longer being processed. Please don’t send any bet transactions to the old betting addresses!
Why is a confirmation required before you process my bet?
The MegaDice Block Chain game used to work with zero confirmations, meaning the time it took for you to send a transaction and receive your winnings was near-instant. Bets were evaluated as soon as our server picked up the broadcast. It was believed that this was safe because payouts use the output of the bet transaction, and because of this, any bet that never confirmed would result in a payout that never confirmed either.
The problem is that after placing a bet, it becomes common knowledge if the bet is winning or losing. A losing bet can then be double spent and winning bets left as is. This would result in losing bets never confirming and winning bets draining the bank.
What’s the House Edge?
The house advantage is 0.9%. In comparison, the house edge for Roulette is 5.26%.
Why don’t my rolls show up in the Leader Boards?
Only bets that are 0.001 or larger qualify for the leader boards, or you made your rolls the day before, accoarding to the server time (UTC).

If Bitcoin is forked, what happens to my balance and/or bankroll bets on MegaDice?
Your balance and bankroll bets will be available for withdrawal on the ‘main chain’ (XBT). In case of an upcoming fork, withdrawals may be temporarily disabled. You should not expect any previous or future cryptocurrency air-drops to be compensated or supported by MegaDice.
